Alwin and his wife Stefanie Hasselback (of Gunderloch) have run Alwin's family estate for over 10 years.  This also happens to be the oldest winery in Kamptal, dating back to the 16th century!  Now farming organically since 2006, the vineyards are teaming with wildlife.  Although the couple has been a leader in the natural wine movement, they strive to produce classic cool climate wines.  Mon Blanc is a beautiful blend of Gruner, Riesling, Weissburgunder, and Muskateller that see 10 days on the skins giving it a lovely textural component, complimented by high toned minerality, orchard fruit and a floral note.  Only 500 cases produced.
