Padelletti Brunello di Montalcino, Italy 2018

Padelletti’s have four hectares from which they produce a Brunello. The vines, on average twenty-five years old, are located at the family’s Rigaccini podere to the northeast of the town, at the foot of Montalcino’s hill where the vineyard altitude reaches 400 meters above sea level. A traditionalist when it comes to the cellar, at the Padelletti the wine is aged for two to three years in large format French and Slavonian oak barrels. The wine is left in bottle for six to twelve months before being released.
