Paul Bara Brut Reserve Grand Cru, Champagne, France NV

Champagne's village of Bouzy has excellent chalky soils, deep cellars carved into the limestone bedrock, and vineyards classified as Grand Cru. Paul Bara is the most well-known producer in Bouzy, and has been growing and making fine Champagne there for over 170 years.
This is the classic non-vintage house style of Paul Bara; dry, broad, and toasty, with a lively core of energy from Pinot Noir grown in the cool limestone hills. It ages in bottle for 3 years before disgorgement to develop it's brioche aromas and fine creamy bubbles.
