Bloomer Creek 'Edelzwicker' Pet-Nat, Finger Lakes, New York NV
Kim Engle and Deb Bermingham purchased a thirty-acre farm in the Finger Lakes region in 1982, and have been pioneers in the region for organic viticulture. They employ no herbicides, no irrigation and fruit is hand-harvested, in the cellar they employ minimal intervention in the winemaking process. This sparkler is a refreshing blend of Riesling from their Cayuga Lake vineyard and Cayuga White, a hybrid variety developed by Cornell grown on Seneca Lake by their neighbor, John Leidenfrost. A light festive summer sparkling wine perfect for day drinking. Bottled with no sulfur.
