End of Nowhere 'Little Faith', California 2021
Winemaker and owner Chris Walsh has made a name for himself in the natural wine scene after having worked for Donkey & Goat, Terre Rouge, Matthew Rorick, and Shake Ridge Vineyard. He founded The End of Nowhere with a simple belief- great California terroir doesn’t need chemical additives, new oak, or a big price tag to be delicious. He knew Amador County well and set to make some good juice with minimal intervention. In the cellar, primary fermentation happens spontaneously with natural yeasts and throughout the process the only additions are small amounts of SO2.
Pairing: Burrata salad with tomatoes, crab toast
Grapes: Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay & Pinot Gris
Viticulture: Sustainable, Unfined/Unfiltered, Low added SO2
