A. Bergére 'Origine,' Brut Champagne, France NV
In 2014, Adrien Bergère became a part of the family domain with the aim of highlighting the abundance of Vallée du Petit Morin. As far as Champagne geography is concerned this is an extension of the Côtes des Blancs. Due to the climatic difference, you will find more Pinot Meunier planted here than Chardonnay. Bergère is one of the few producers working here, vinifying distinct parcels separately utilizing barrel rather than stainless steel. At present, the estate only produces 70,000 bottles. The flagship wine of the domaine is Origine Brut, which showcases the perfect balance of freshness and unctuous texture.
