Enoteca Bisson was founded by Pierluigi Lugano in 1978 and has become a benchmark producer of Italian wine. Lugano cultivates indigenous grape varieties on steep rocky slopes perched above the Mediterranean on the Tigullio Gulf, slopes so steep mechanization is not possible.  This is an elegant expression of Pigato, linear but holding great complexity, showing bright acidity, brilliant length, and intense minerality leavened by notes of citrus, green apple & almond skin. 

Pairing: White flakey fish with herb marinade, fried calamari--just go grab your Mediterranean seafood cookbook and you can't go wrong.
