Calabretta is run by Massimiliano Calabretta on Mt. Etna. What the winery is known for is its extremely long aged and release reds of Nerello Mascalese.
The current bottling of Cala Cala, is a blend of 2005, 2008, 2013, 2014 and 2016, sourced from a mix of young and old vines. Cala Cala means "Gulp, Gulp" says Massimiliano, meaning you should gulp this one down because it's so tasty!
