One of Barbaresco's oldest and iconic producers, being run by the Minuto family for eight generations, with vineyards in some of Barbaresco’s greatest sites—Asili and Rabajà among them. They believe in low-impact farming, retaining grass and vegetation, and using only copper and sulfur to treat the vineyards. Roberto Minuto, who runs the estate today, and his 85-year-old father put their wines up for sale when they decide they are ready, which ends up being significantly later than most producers in the region. 2016 is a top-notch vintage. This wine has plenty of structure and will most certainly age gracefully.
