Catherine & Pierre are two vignerons whom are completely immersed in what they do. They live on property producing wines expressive of terroir & vintage with minimal intervention. Les Perrieres is the home to 40 year old vines. This is the Bretons' greatest red, from one of the most prized hillside parcels in Bourgueil. The terroir is siliceous clay and limestone, and old vines give very low yields of 20 hectoliters/hectare on average. The Breton wines showcase wild herbaceous and savory notes such as tobacco, earth, wild berries, & black pepper. This will be a great addition to your cellar!
