In the late 1990s, ex-sommelier, Cedric Bouchard took over his father's vines in the Côte des Bar and established Champagne Roses de Jeanne in 2000 committing his production to single-vineyard, single-variety (Pinot Noir, Chardonnay or Pinot Blanc), single-vintage, zero-dosage Champagnes. Fine bubbles & notes of underripe cherry and strawberry, with a viscosity not found in most Champagne.
Grape: 100% Pinot Noir from the 1.5 hectare lieu-dit of Val Vilaine. 300-500 cases produced annually.
