Charly is the son of Jean-Paul Thévenet, one of Beaujolais' greats. He spent much of his youth watching and working with is father, as well as spending time in the cellar with Marcel Lapierre. In 2006, Charly purchased a plot of eighty-year-old vines in Régnié (one of our favorite Crus). The soil here seabed stones situated in the foothills of the Côte du Py of Morgon.
