Etienne de Montille was named general manager of this estate back in 2001. Since his take over, he has dramatically reduced yields and converted the château to organic and biodynamic principles. Coming from the Grand Cru Chevalier Montrachet, the wines are a bit more steely and mineral driven than its prestigious neighbor, Montrachet. The 2011 vintage is starting to show its true colors right about now!
