Simone Blanc is aged for 12 months in barrel, giving wine has a textured mouthfeel, a youthful green pine resin quality on the nose and is marked by a long and lingering finish. The Rougier family have an almost monopoly on the region of Palette in the hills just south of Aix-en-Provence and are responsible for some of the most compelling wines to come out of Southern France. Only 200 cases of this enter the US each year!
