Matteo, Rudy & Alessandra are the trio behind Chiussuma.  The  winery is located in Carema, a tiny DOC in the Alto Piemonte.  Chiussuma consists of 3.5ha of land between 300-700m above sea level, working with three different clone of Nebbiolo (locally known as Picotendro), but also Pugent & Ner d'ALa.  2021 marks their debut in the United States, with the release of their second vintage 2018.  This is a high toned and floral expression of Nebbiolo grown on sand and alluvial deposits, offering haunting aromatics of roses and black cherry.  If you are a lover of producers like AR.PE.PE in Lombardy or or Petterino in Gattinara, Chiussuma is worth the exploration.
