Coteaux du Giennois is a lesser-known Loire Valley appellation near Pouilly-Fumé and Sancerre.  Like most white wines from these regions, it is 100% Sauvignon Blanc and has excellent energy and minerality.  Bright, dry, and brimming with electric citrus and orchard fruit on the nose, this is an excellent choice for anyone who loves Sancerre but wants to branch out to enjoy juicier aromatics.  

Pairing: Cider glazed chicken with herbs, goat cheese, white flaky fish
