Clos Cibonne 'Cuvée Tradition' Rosé, Côtes de Provence, France 2021
Clos Cibonne is a historic estate located just 800 meters away from the coast. It was once owned by a marine captain to Louis XVI, but in 1979, it was purchased by the Roux family, who brought it to fame. Their Cuvée Tradition wine is highly respected amongst wine collectors due to its texture, substance, and ability to age gracefully for over a decade. This limited wine is made exclusively with Tibouren grapes grown on the estate and blended with a touch of grenache to meet Côtes de Provence guidelines. The vineyard, one of 18 Crus Classés of Côtes de Provence, boasts traditional goblet-trained vines and is situated in the foothills of the Maure mountains overlooking Toulon's harbor and the Mediterranean Sea.
