Breakwater is a single vineyard Chardonnay using grapes planted just over the Long Island sound, the winds help keep the vines cool and assist in promoting good acidity and freshness. Aged in a combination of French oak barrels and stainless steel drums for 10 months followed by 4 months in tank.  No Malo. 25% new french oak.  This wine shows Chablis-esque structure and finesse, if dry Chardonnays are your vibe, this is a wine for you
