Aurelien Suenen has a very small plot of land, 1.5 hectares to be exact, located in the Côte des Blancs.  He has no plan to expand, just to make sure he is producing well crafted expressions of Champagne's chalky terroir.  In order to preserve purity of fruit, and out of respect for the soil, Aurelien does not use any herbicides or pesticides on his tiny property.  C+C is a blend from Grand Cru's Cramant and Chouilly.  This a mineral driven and fresh champagne with great weight and structure that you would expect from a Grand Cru wine.

Soil: Silt to silty clay above Upper Campanian Chalk
