Tucked up in the lower hills of the Vosges Mountains in the town of Bergholz, Jean Dirler settled and found Vins Dirler. Today, the Domaine is run by Jean Dirler, who represents the 5th generation of the family, and his wife Ludivine. In 2000 the couple joined with Ludivine's family and established Dirler-Cadé converting the estate fully to biodynamics with minimal intervention in the winery.
