Bruno, from the Jura, actually had his winemaking start in Champagne with naturalista Vincent Laval. A decade later in 2017, he finally released his own wines. The Chardonnay comes from a small parcel in Arlay, as well as a small walled parcel called Montain on the Southeast slopes of Chateau Chalon, but technically in the village of Nevy sur Seille. In total just 0.55 Hectares making just 1,942 bottles of Chardonnay, distributed to over 20 countries. His Chardonnay is savory with tons of energy. Dark bruised & bakes orchards fruits, with a lemon citrus to back it up. A touch of umami rounds out the wine nicely.
Grape: Chardonnay (20 ares and 25 years old vines) & some vines planted in 1942
Pairing: Roasted Chicken
