Since taking over the family winery at the age of 18, Bernard Bohn has crafted an individually unique style of wines in Alsace. Today, Bernard and his son Arthur farm just over 9 hectares and go beyond organic agriculture to incorporate uncommon techniques, such as completely abandoning vineyard plowing and allowing cover crops to coexist to create balance in the vines.

A blend of Chardonnay & Pinot Noir taken from the single vineyard of Reichsfeld, planted in the 1980s on a combination of volcanic sandstone and rare schist soils. Primary fermentation in stainless steel, with a minimum of three years aging on the lees in bottle after secondary ferment and before disgorgement. No dosage. Bone dry and peppery, with pretty pink florals and zesty aromas.
