Domaine des Frères was created by two brothers, Henri and Valentin. 2020 is their first first vintage to hit the market! They grew up near Chinon and both became engineers. After several years working as engineers they both realized that they were not fit to stay in an office & began Domaine de Frères. Le Pérou is the name of the lieu-dit in the AOP Chinon. Fermentation is done with wild yeasts, no SO2 added, just a tiny amount at bottling, aged in concrete tank for 3 months, without fining and a light filtration. The wine is full of crunchy red fruits. It is open and lively. Notes of cherry, strawberry and a touch of violets. This wine makes you smile.
