Domaine de Montille has a history in Burgundy dating back to 1730. Since 1995, Etienne de Montille is running the estate and is also responsible for converting the estate to organic and biodynamic farming methods. De Montille's parcel 1er Cru Les Aigrots is 0.49 hectares located at the foot of the Beaune hill on a gentle slope. The name stems from the old dialect word "Argifolium", the name of a thorny brush that historically grew in the area. A fruit-driven, ample and generous wine that is accessible in its youth.
