Domaine de Montille has a history in Burgundy dating back to 1730. Since 1995, Etienne de Montille is running the estate and is also responsible for converting the estate to organic and biodynamic farming methods. This village level Chardonnay is a harmonious wine; very pretty and elegant. Medium bodied with lifted orchard fruit and hint of savory lemon meringue. Subtly bold.
Pairing: Roasted chicken and herb potato
Soil: From a sloping vineyard across from the village of Puligny in an area called "Bas de Corpeau" of clay-limestone
Farming Practices: Organic and Biodynamic
