A stunner of wine from Mount Eden Estates. Domaine Eden is a nearby mountaintop wine estate purchased by Mount Eden Vineyards in 2007. This wine's composition from the 2019 vintage is 74% Domaine Eden fruit and 26% from the Mount Eden Estate. The wine was fermented with native yeasts in 2-5 year old Burgundy barrels, completed 100% malolactic fermentation and aged sur-lie for 10 months. Highlighted by forward tropical fruit, Domaine Eden Chardonnay is plenty drinkable. The barrel aging rounds out the edges and offers notes of vanilla and caramel.
