Review Jasper Morris: 5-star wine, 9-94 pts

Fine medium-deep purple. The bouquet is beautifully sensual, still pure pinot, a touch riper than the generics. A swelling burst of ripe juicy fruit kept tame by the framework with its little point of acidity and medium tannins. Long finish. Beautifully made, especially given that these hot dry vintages may not be friendly to Volnay. Tasted: October 2021
