Winemaker and sculptor, Andre Ostertag, is an ardent environmentalist. After training in Burgundy, André returned to the family domaine in Alsace with a renewed zeal. He went as far as classifying his own wines based on fruit expressions, soil and climate variations. After 9 months of fermentation in stainless steel, undergoing full malolactic, the wine rests for another 12 months in stainless steel before release. This old vine Sylvaner shows freshness and silkiness mouth feel. Can't go wrong with a nice bottle of Ostertag.
