Domaine Rapet Père et Fils is an old winemaking family that can trace its roots in Pernand-Vergelesses back to 1765. Vincent, who is in charge today, produces modern-style wines, well vinified and representative of their terroir. This parcel is more than 50 years old. The name "Aux Fournaux" refers to the coal kilns of which remains have been found. The wine is characterized by a deep and ferruginous ground, giving it a deep color, elegant, quite powerful palate, marked by a dominant of Morello cherries, black currant, and raspberry, then subsequently developing notes of undergrowth after some years.
