For Thierry Michon, biodynamics isn't a pragmatic consideration, it's a religion. His vineyards never seen a non-organic product. Thierry went as far as purchasing buffer zones all around his property to prevent chemical products from other winemakers from seeping into his parcels. This domaine sits at the extreme southern end of the Loire delta, just south of Muscadet.  His pinot noir a soft and rustic. The tannins are light with a slight granular quality giving a pleasant backbone for the black cherry fruit on the palate.
