Dugat-Py's Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes is a wine of true staying power.   Loïc, 13th generation winemaker, has shown great promise in his winemaking ability, and that truly shows in the 2018 vintage.  A vintage proving difficult for many, showed Loïc's ability to produce good wine through the challenges of mother nature.  Though these wines are powerful and brooding, they are also floral and earthy.  Although this is a village level wine, these 50 year old vines will achieve more complexity in the cellar.
