Envínate 'Lousas' Viñas de Aldea, is a red blend, from Galicia, of Mencía, Brancellao, Caiño, Sousón & Garnacha Tintorera and a small percentage of other native varieties that grow together in the vineyard. The grapes come from several plots that are over 60 years old, planted on 'lousa' soils (slate). This is a juicy and bright wine with a touch of black pepper. Tons of mineral driven energy gives the palate a refreshing finish but drawing you back for more. Think Cru Beaujolais here.
