Before making wine, Éric had a past life as a nuclear engineer, and somewhere along the line his passion for wine became the full time job. He is thoughtful and curious. He began as a small négoce project and eventually acquired the capital to buy his own vineyards. He works in communes like Brézème and St-Julien en St-Alban, and his fruit is pristine. The utmost care goes into the vineyard work. The finished wines speak to a place and labor of love. Although this wine is dark in color and has a mid weight density on the palate, there is an honesty and lift behind the notes of garrigue, olive and plum. The palate is alive drawing you back for more.
