Ferrando black label is made only in the best vintages, and aged in the estates cellar for a minimum of three years prior to release. Ferrando is making one of the best expressions of Nebbiolo in the Carema appellation, mostly thanks to the great variety of rocks and elevation found in this Alpine region. If you're fan of Barolo and Barbaresco and want to explore more of the great range of what Nebbiolo can offer this will be your bottle. It would develop beautifully after a few years of cellaring or a few hours of decanting.
Soil: Glacial Moraine- The soil belongs to the silico-aluminium-alkaline type corresponding to the great crystalline massifs of the Monte Rosa, Monte Bianco and Gran Paradiso.
