Fichet Bourgogne Blanc, Côte d'Or, France 2021

We absolutely love Jean-Philippe Fichet, a renowned wine maker from Burgundy who tirelessly tends to his vineyards day and night. He was one of the first to recognize the importance of the specific locations, or lieu-dits, in Meursault. Jean-Philippe firmly believes in waiting until the grapes are perfectly ripe before harvesting, which sets him apart from other wine makers who prefer earlier harvesting. His wines are a genuine pleasure to drink, with a focus on the unique characteristics of the terroir and a deep expression of flavor. The 2021 vintage is particularly exceptional, showcasing a refreshing mineral taste and remarkable drinkability.
