Manchuela is almost a forgotten region until recently, with talent such as Javier Revert reminding us of the beauty of this terroir and its native grapes. Javier has created a beautifully focussed expression of Bobal in this field blend, including 30% white grapes, co-fermented in open-top vats—Smokey yet fresh with black cherry, Mediterranean herbs, and a hint of black olive.
