Forlorn Hope 'Nacré', Sémillon Napa Valley, California 2014
This heavenly Sémillon is grown in the heart of the Napa Valley, just north of the town of Yountville, at an organic and dry farmed vineyard. Produced in the same fashion as the Sémillons of Australia’s Hunter Valley, with its waxy-hay, lemon oil, yet crisp and focused, with layer upon layer of flavor that opens up with time.
Pairing: wash rind cheeses, fig and goat cheese crostini
