The Grosjean family has root here in the Vallée d'Aoste to village of Fornet, in the high mountain passes of the Valle d’Aosta, known as Valgrisenche where they raised cattle. Today they farm 7ha of vines, of all indigenous varieties. The Gamay sees a shorter maceration time of 4-5 days followed by aging in stainless steel to produce a fruity but rigorous wine with abundant aromatics.
