It is easy to spot a traditional Piemontese vignaiolo by their use of valuable land for not only Nebbiolo, but also other classic grape varieties such as Dolcetto and Barbera. Guido Porro is an example of this, as he cultivates all three varieties within Barolo's well-known Lazzarito cru. This stunning amphitheater descends from his winery located in the village of Serralunga d'Alba. It's not surprising that this Dolcetto displays incredible structure and depth, with notes of blackberries, earth, and stones.
