Founded in 1753 in Trelawny, Hampden Estate is one of the oldest sugar cane processing companies in Jamaica and its products are characterized precisely by the total respect for the island's tradition. Hampden still uses only copper stills, so all rums are produced with 100% pot-still distillation and, as in the best Jamaican tradition, fermentation takes place for quite a long time with natural yeasts.  This release contains one of the oldest rums that have been aged entirely in the distillery, and is a perfect example of Trelawny rum, with a congeners content of 1,240.2 gr / hlpa, of which 334.7 gr / hlpa are esters.  

Incredibly pungent with fruity, delicately spiced notes and cooked apple juice, it is a rum with a very long finish, ideal for tasting as a single rum.
