I Vigneri is a project led by Salvo Foti, a native Sicilian with more than 20 year winemaking expertise on Mt. Etna. He lives and breathes everything Etna. I Vigneri is the culmination of about 20 growers looking to tradition with a modern twist. Cleanliness in the cellar and organic viticulture are of great importance but use traditional Etna winemaking techniques like the palmento. The rosso is lively and fresh, with dark fruits and that rocky mineral edge you get from wine grown on volcanic soil.
