Third generation grower, Jean-Marc Sélèque and his wife Oriane continue to make a strong case for the incredible terroirs of the Marne Valley Jean-Marc owns about 9 hectares in 45 parcels spread out over 7 villages mainly on the southern slopes of Éperna. The philosophy here is all about their commitment to the soil, natural balance, and biodiversity. Vinification is gentle, with extended élevage, without filtration. 

Quintette is a single harvest blended with solera in wood casks (20% solera started in 2012.) The five vineyards average 45 years of age, including Vertus 1er Cru - La Justice planted in 1950, Dizy 1er Cru - Moque-Bouteille planted in 1985, Epernay - Les Frileux planted in 1959, Mardeuil - Les Basses Ronces planted in 1982, Pierry 1er Cru - Les Tartières and Les Porgeons planted in 1990 and 1985.
