Jolie-Laide: Unconventional beauty. The wines of Jolie-Laide fully embody this ethos. Upon its inception back in 2010, California wineries were synonymous with Cabernet, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Zinfandel, and other international grape varieties. Scott and Jenny Schultz took an avante-garde approach to the ideology of their winery, working with organic growers across California, working with grapes like Trousseau, Mondeause, Pinot Gris, and Gamay. And while over a decade has passed, team Schultz is still crafting some of the most thought-provoking wines from these relatively obscure varieties to California's terroir. 

Jolie-Laide Pinot Gris takes its beautiful pink hue from gently crushing the grapes by foot and a few days of cold soak before an all wild ferment. The wine is sultry and flavorful.
