In addition to being proprietors of Domaine Huet in Vouvray, the Hwang family owns one of the most historic estates in Hungary – Királyudvar (The Kings Court), a hidden gem tucked into the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains. This region is widely known for the production of sweet botrytized wines but this domaine has been pioneering dry and sparkling styles of wine since 2005. The grapes are all sourced from estate vineyards located in Tokaji’s heartland in the towns of Mád and Bodrogkeresztur. All are historically important grand cru sites including Henye, Percze, Becsek, and the great Lapis. There's a touch of sweetness that makes the wine round and sexy backed by righteous acidity. If you like Vouray, or Chenin Blanc, you will most likely enjoy this wine.
