L’Esprit de l’Horizon Cotes Catalanes Blanc, France 2019
Lying at the foot of the mighty Pyreness, just a few kilometers from the Spanish border, this tiny village of 200 inhabitants produces the kind of wine we all should be drinking more of. Mineral laden, tons of citrus on the nose and palate with a finish reminiscent of a honey-tangerine tart. It's mid-bodied, textural style with vibrant acidity is perfect for more oily fish and light poultry.

Grapes: 80% Macabeo, 20% Muscat
Soil: Schist, brown and black slate, limestone
