The La Vizcaína project, dating to 2011, is Raúl Pérez’s vision for single-parcel wines from his home village of Valtuille de Abajo in Bierzo that hew as close as possible to the Burgundy model. This wine will truly dance on your palate. Notes of blackberry and cassis swirl with baking spice. Celebrated for his ability to capture the true terroir of his vineyards, Raul Perez, delivers a wine that will linger on your palate and pair perfectly with smoked prosciutto and a rich aged Manchego.
