Le Puy de l'Ours 'Clos des Godeaux,' Savigny-lès-Beaune, Burgundy, France 2021
Le Puy de l'Ours has absolutely crushed it with their debut vintage, 2021. This small domaine is run by a husband and wife team Jean Orsini and Juliette Puyperoux. Their vineyards are in their third year of organic certification, and the winemaking is approached with a light hand. Clos des Godeaux shows expressive cherry fruits, bright acidity, perfectly textured grainy tannin, and a long floral finish. Give this team a shot; you will not be disappointed.
