Leon Barral Blanc, Vin de France 2017
You might already be familiar with Didier Barral, he makes some of the most sought after red wines from the Languedoc today. He represents the thirteenth generation to grow grapes in the tiny hamlet of Lenthéric, within the confines of the Faugères appellation deep in the heart of the Languedoc. This is the most recent addition to the family of wines and his first white. A field blend of whites grapes mostly found in the part of France. Macerated for 3-4 hours in the press, giving it a beautiful orange hue. This is a wine that needs time and air so don't rush into it, let it breath a bit before enjoying it.
