Dominique Lucas is no stranger to the vineyard with his Burgundian roots. After enology school, Lucas has found his true calling amongst the foot of the Alps in the Savoie. He produces ethereal and elegant styles of Chasselas, and now he has added Pinot Noir to his repertoire. Although he hails from Burgundy, his winemaking technique does not represent any Burgundian tradition but rather the ideology of the late Dominique Belluard, a dear friend of Lucas. A vast array of different amphorae, barrels, and concrete eggs are used as fermentation vessels. Fermentations occur naturally, and the only addition to the wines is a bit of sulphur at bottling.

"Comme Un Evidence" translates to "It Makes Sense" because Dominique is Burgundian, so of course, he'd make a Pinot Noir. And we are thankful he did. The wine is herbal but shows ripe purple and red fruits, and although the fruit is ripe, the freshness is undeniable. The wine is light on its feet and sprinkled with notes of spice rack and umami. The pleasant grainy tannins lead to a long and enjoyable finish.
