Virgile Lignier has worked alongside his father since 1988, taking full charge in 2000. Lignier-Michelot is a negociant label to keep in mind. Their growers farm organically and maintain a long and traditional relationship with the Domaine. Significant changes have happened since Virgile took over and every year the wines get better and better.  This wine has a lovely bouquet of cherries and purple flowers, accompanied by a long elegant finish.  

Grape: Pinot Noir

Soil: Very shallow soils (red in color, full of small stones and some sand) covering a hard limestone substrate.

Viticulture: Purchased Grapes (same contract since the 2000s) farmed organically
